رسالة قصيرة في مسألة واحدة، وهي إجابة عن سؤال ورد المؤلف عن رجل يصلي بعد الجمعة أربع ركعات ينوي بها آخر ظهر دخل وقته ولم يصله، هل فعلها أو تركها أولى؟
قسم المؤلف رسالته إلى مقدمة وثلاثة أبواب وخاتمة:
المقدمة في فضائل الصلاة عامة، ثم فضائل الجمعة خاصة، ثم تكلم في تقرير المسألة ومنشئها عند الأحناف ثم أورد آراء المذاهب الثلاثة الأخرى
الباب الأول: في ذكر المنقولات في المذهب الحنفي منها ما يفيد المطلوب على سبيل العموم ومنها ما يفيد المطلوب على وجه الخصوص
الباب الثاني: في ذكر ما يوهم الدلالة على عدم صلاة تلك الأربعة المذكورة، والرد عليه
الباب الثالث: في تنبيهات عامة على ما سبق بيانه
خاتمة: في الكلام على ساعة استجابة الدعاء يوم الجمعة

Summary

It's a brief treatise discussing one issue regarding whether or not a Muslim should pray four rakʿas (prophylactically intending the last Ẓuhr he might haven't prayed) after Al-Ǧumʿah prayer. The book consists of an introduction, three chapters and a conclusion.
The introduction is on the value of prayer (Ṣalāh) in general and Ǧumʿah specifically, then the author explained the issue (it was in the form of a question directed to him), mentioning the opinions of Ḥanafī scholars and other Sunnī schools opinions.
Ch. 1: On Quoting from Ḥanafī jurist in favor of the opinion discussed
Ch. 2: Refuting other passages that might seem to be against the opinion
Ch. 3: On Miscellaneous issues related to the points discussed above
Conclusion: On the hour of Ǧumʿah at which prayers are most certainly being answered
